The guest accommodation at Under Oaks is nothing short of uninterrupted tranquility. Our 4 star Vineyard suites are stylishly designed and decorated to assure complete luxury. These rooms are 4 Star graded, newly built and limited to eight spacious en-suite rooms. They are all individually decorated and most feature a private patio with breath-taking views of the farm dam, surrounding mountains and Boland valley.

A small salt water pool gives you the opportunity to cool down on warm summer days. Soak up the sun whilst enjoying clean, fresh air and spectacular views.

RATES: Subject to change without prior notice. ACCOMMODATION RATES INCLUDE: 14% VAT. CHILDREN POLICY: Unfortunately, no children under the age of 12. Children between 13 and 18 sharing with their parents pay an additional R500,00 per night.
CANCELLATION POLICY: A minimum of R100,00 or 10% of the total booking value will be deducted from all refunds as administrative charges. Cancellation up to 60 days before arrival full refund less administrative charges. Cancellation up to 8 days before arrival 50% of the booking total will be forfeited. Cancellations 7 days and fewer before arrival and in case of no-show 100% of the booking total will be forfeited.

SUE GREEN

Sue Green heads up the guesthouse with her talented young team. They will ensure that your every need is met and that your stay on Under Oaks is unforgettable. Hearty home-made breakfasts are served in the Manor House which boasts a breathless view over the valley. What better way to start the day than to sit leisurely on the veranda and sip your coffee with the enticing smell of freshly baked croissants hanging in the air?

VERUSKA DE KOCK

Veruska de Kock was born on Under Oaks but then relocated to Constantia with her grandmother who worked as a housekeeper and cook in a local guesthouse. Veruska would help and learn. After moving back to Paarl her creative talent was spotted and she has been an integral member of our team since 2014. Veruska is a creative person and often found adding those final details to basic daily operations – personal touches such as decorating the breakfast plates or welcome notes at the front entrance for each guest on the chalkboard.

JOE EDDY GAWANI

Joe Eddy Gawani was born in Harare, Zimbabwe to Malawian parents where his mother was a private cook to British officials. Joe would spend plenty of time with her in the kitchen developing his cooking and baking skills. Joe has been part of the Under Oaks family since January 2014 and with his warm, friendly personality and delicious breakfast recipes, Joe has become a household name to the regular guests here at Under Oaks.

LUCHA PETERSEN

Brand new to our team, a Capetonian with a make-up artistry and management background, Lucha has easily slotted in to the Under Oaks family. She assists wherever needed and you’ll find her equally comfortably in the tasting room or serving you breakfast.
